About SSD

Sreehatta Sammilani Delhi is one of the oldest socio-cultural non-profit organization of Sylehti’s living, outside of Sylhet District erstwhile in Bangladesh, in India. Our goals are broadly defined in our vision and mission statement. We have open communication with all our members. To promote a feeling of togetherness, Sreehatta Sammilani is a membership based organization.

Sreehatta Sammilani Delhi has a proud legacy left behind by many luminaries,  philosophers and eminent personalities from various walks of life, with their presence on different occasions in the past. Some of themare Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Swami Suhanannada and Swami Chinmayananda. 

A most glorious concept and a dream for Sreehatta Sammilani Delhi was the creation of the Bipin Pal Memorial Bhawan Complex at A-81, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi. Bipin Chandra Pal, a illustrious son of erstwhile Sylhet was a fearless freedom fighter, a great nationalist, an eminent educationist, social reformer and fiery orator.
